The beautiful Paznaun valley extends over a length of nearly 40 km in western Tyrol. It begins in Pians (right next to Landeck) where the rivers ‘Trisanna’ and ‘Rosanna’ unite to the river ‘Sanna’, goes from the villages See, Kappl and Ischgl to Galtür at the end of the valley. The valley is characterized by the impressive mountains of Silvretta and Samnaun with its harsh but sunny climate. It is a real holiday paradise – summer and winter. Summer makes you feel like hiking, biking, playing tennis … And in winter you find relaxation, fun and action on the perfectly prepared slopes of the ski areas.

One of the most popular inter hot spots in Austria – Ischgl – is situated only a few kilometres from Kappl. From skiing in the Silvretta-Arena to concerts with global stars (e.g. Sir Elton John and U2) in the middle of the ski area, through to entertainment, shopping and top culinary performances – the famed Ischgl winter exhilarates with its exuberant holiday style. The high Alpine village Galtür is situated at approx. 1,600 m above sea level amidst the heart of the Silvretta mountains. Surrounded by numerous 3,000 m peaks the little village is an ideal starting point for extensive hiking and climbing tours in summer. In winter the specially family-friendly and snow-secure ski area ‘Silvapark’ offers ideal conditions for beginners, advanced and experts as well. In summer you can choose from approx. 250 kilometres of routes for extensive hikes, relaxing walks and routes for Nordic Walking. Galtür is the first official climatic health resort in Tyrol!
